The gold nugget can be found lying on the river of the Crystal Stream biome. Smashing an Astral Rocky Remnants or a Pebble Conglomeration with a Hammer Tool can yield also to a gold nugget.
Its main use is as a high value offering for the Devotive of Shrubberry, Mystical Monuments, and Endly Altar altars. Offering a gold nugget on the altars at Mystical Monuments or the Endly Altar will never fail to either learn a recipe or save your game.
